When you request the buyer guide, we collect your first name, last name, phone number and email address, along with your text-message consent choices. If you request the guide through a Facebook or Instagram form, we also collect your answers about the home you’re interested in, your timing, whether you’re a first-time buyer, whether you have a home to sell, and whether you’re a licensed real estate agent. We also collect basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the ad that brought you here. This comes from cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags.
We use it to send you the Wild Indigo Buyer Guide and respond to your inquiry. We also use it to provide any real estate services you request and, where you’ve consented, to send updates on new releases, pricing and incentives. We use the technical data to measure and improve our advertising.
We collect, use and disclose your personal information only with your consent, in line with PIPEDA. Electronic messages are sent in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You can unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in any message, and you can reply STOP to any text to opt out. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect services you’ve already asked us to provide.
We never sell your information. When you book a visit to the presentation centre or model homes, we share your name, contact details and home preferences with the builder’s sales team (Madison Group) so they can prepare for your visit. Otherwise, we share it only with service providers that help us run this site and our communications, such as our CRM, email and SMS delivery, hosting and advertising platforms. We also share it with our brokerage for record-keeping and regulatory compliance, and when the law requires it. Some providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where local authorities may be able to access it under local law.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also manage ad personalization through your Meta and Google ad settings.
We keep your information only as long as these purposes require, or as the law requires, including real estate record-keeping under TRESA. We protect it with reasonable safeguards.
You can ask to see or correct your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us at the details above. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
